Managers who are unaware of how this behavaviour affects their staff need to do a " self check". Their credibility,integrity and level of trust takes a nose dive. I have heard Steven talk about his 2 to 24 hour rule and have many experiences where this works well. Take 2 hours to calm down and let the emotion simmer and the logic surface but respond within 24 hours.!
